2005-11-17 10:13 PM Dolphinsdolphinsdolphins Dolphins! Lots and lots of dolphins cavorting and frolicking in the ocean during our morning commute! Dolphins!
Dolphinsdolphinsdolphinsdolphins. <>-<>-<> Dudes, it’s really hard to calm down and concentrate on work after seeing the cover for one’s first novel. I found it just before Kirk called us all into a conference room to let the department know that I’m leaving. Someone said they hoped it was for something better? and I was able to say “I want to focus on my writing career” followed by “My book just got listed on amazon.co.uk!” So then everyone trooped over to see it, because I’d already made it my desktop background. (Which may have to go. The picture is centered, and when I lock my computer, the box that comes up for me to type in my password to get in hits just so that what you see is the dialogue box…and a pair of barely covered breasts. Probably not work-appropriate…) Oh, and in case anyone’s wondering, no, there are no redheads in bikinis in our book. But it could be worse. Our heroine could have three hands. <>-<>-<> Anybody have experience with Flickr.com? I was thinking of using it for picture hosting, because the .mac stuff isn’t offering everything I’d like. ---
What Have I Done Today to Make My Writing Dream Come True? quit my job (okay, that was yesterday); discussed simple, cheap promotions with my co-author; made the entire department look at my novel cover Read/Post Comments (6) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
