Exercise: still taking it easy I want bloomers. Dupioni silk bloomers in shimmery colors, with lace dripping from the hems. Kind of like these, only in better colors, and dupioni silk. And not that expensive. I’ve made bloomers for myself, and have the pattern. What I don’t have is a sewing room set up, or the money for fabric and lace. I probably don’t have the time, although I imagine I could sneak the project into my week without much of a hassle. This is all because the last few days, I’ve been wearing long flowing skirts. Jeans just started to bother me a few days ago, so I threw on a skirt. What I didn’t realize is that Ken really likes long flowing skirts. Really likes them. I had no idea. I think my legs are one of my best features and that I look much better in shorter skirts, although I love the long flowy look, but apparently Ken is all about the long flowing skirts. And I have absolutely no problem with that. [wicked smile] Except now I want dupioni silk and lace bloomers to wear underneath them. <>-<>-<> Got a little writing done today. Two new things in the mail, and a bit more on a new story. A bit of progress, anyway. I plan to ramble in here about writing stuff, but not right now. Now it’s late and I’m tired. Maybe tomorrow. No promises, though. I’m taking a break from reading romance and erotica and erotic romance, to read some fantasy. And I’m trying to read a little Battlecorps fiction or nonfiction every day. We did some more office organizing and purging, and I worked, and crossed more off my To Do list. We made spicy chicken with peppers over angelhair pasta for supper and watched The Road to El Dorado. Everyone had said that the two main characters were exactly like our friend Alexander and Eoghan (Brian, of Morgana and Brian, and Matt, of Heather and Matt). Oh my gods but they were right! One even looked like Eoghan—and that’s saying a lot for a cartoon character. Next up on the Netflix queue: Kill Bill Vols 1 and 2. Plus I recorded a bunch of stuff from TCM—The Maltese Falcon, Look Who’s Coming to Dinner, The Uninvited, that sort of thing. (Not that there’s really a pattern there, is there?) So we have a lot to amuse us. As if we weren’t enough amusement already. As Silver says, “The idea is for me to amuse you.” (The Silver Metal Lover, Tanith Lee) ---
