2006-06-21 2:50 PM Trippin' Words Written: we’ll see how the trip goes
Writing Stats: Semi-rejection for my solo story for Caught Looking—it didn’t make it into this edition, but she’ll hold on to it for the sequel, and I’m welcome to continue to shop it elsewhere because she’s willing to take it as a reprint. Exercise: changing cat litter ;-) Blessed Solstice, everyone! I’m off on a Stygian road trip: 4 concerts in 4 nights in 3 states (not in a logical order, either; Arizona to California to Nevada to California). Fran is my partner in crime, and we’ve traveled together successfully before, so I expect nothing less than a blissfully fun time. My brand-spankin’ new Palm Tungsten E2 arrived today! I’ve spent several hours installing software. Docs to Go is loaded, keyboard works. GPS maps are downloading as we speak. Fran and I can play with the actual GPS software while we’re hurtling through the desert tonight. I’ll be back late Sunday night. Don’t burn the house down while I’m away, kids, and if you have a party, just keep it down enough that the cops don’t get called. That’s all I’m askin’. ---
