I am, of course, behind pace for 50K words this month. But that's all right. I just want to get the bulk of this novel written. I put in over 1700 words today, and that's just fine with me.

I went ahead and assessed how much I'd already done on this book coming into NaNoWriMo. Good news is, I started with about 28,000 words. Bad news is, most of that's unsalvagable.

I've revamped the outline and I'm gonna have to throw most of that stuff out. The first 7K were all right, and I've added another 4 to that, so my first 10K at least is solid, workable draft material.
