I finally broke down and rented the DVD this weekend.

Yes, it was every bit the piece of vacuous, misleading, confused, and twisted piece of tripe I'd discussed several times here.

I respectfully disagree with those who oppose the Iraq war, but this stuff really was third-rate hackery...it certainly doesn't function as a balanced, objective view of history, and I don't know how you'd call a film with dismembered children and sobbing mothers "just fun entertainment". And as a pure opinion piece, I have a hard time ferreting out Moore's views, other than a simplistic "Bush sucks!"...which I guess may be enough for some.
