I heard Tom Brokaw on Imus this morning talking about the relative IQ's of the Presidental candidates. There was a guy quoted by the NY Times who had analyzed their military aptitude tests and concluded that Bush's IQ was probably a little higher than John Kerry's.

Now, I'm fairly skeptical about measurements of IQs, especially when they're not actually based on an actual IQ test.

But according to TIME magazine (and plenty of others), Bush scored a 1206 on his SAT. If you readjust for changes to the scoring system, his score goes up, closer to 1300. Either way, wouldn't this indicate that he's not an idiot?
