The US Department of Commerce has just released a report on internet and broadband usage in the US, and it's pretty interesting. Here's the HTML version.

36.6% Percentage of US households with computer
18.6% Percentage of US households with internet access
0% Percentage of US households with broadband internet access

2001
56.2% Percentage of US households with computer
50.3% Percentage of US households with internet access
9.1% Percentage of US households with broadband internet access

2003
61.8% Percentage of US households with computer
54.6% Percentage of US households with internet access
19.9% Percentage of US households with broadband internet access


So broadband access has doubled in the past couple of years, and the trend will most likely continue. Anyway, the report is well-written and interesting, with lots of pretty and informative graphs. Have a look.
