2005-06-27 9:44 AM The Not So Supreme Court Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (4) We took the day off genetic and evolutionary programming to see some of the sights in DC. First stop was the Supreme Court, but we got there after they'd already adjourned for this session. We still saw quite a few reporters outside though. One cool thing, there's a public office where you can pick up a printout of their rulings for that day. We picked one up on the Ten Commandments rulings today.
Sounds like basically they punted. Again. Essentially they said that such displays should be evaluated on a case by case basis. Thanks for the crystal clear precedence, guys and gals. How about this...if a display mentions god, it's religious? Naw, that would be too fuggin simple. Anyway, we also visited the Air and Space branch of the Smithsonian, as well as their Natural History museum. Pretty good stuff. Lots of moon capsules and dinosaurs and whatnot. Tomorrow it's back to the genetic/evolutionary stuff. Read/Post Comments (4) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
