So I've been in grad school the past 9 months, and when I moved to Louisiana I left my TV behind.

I'm staying with a friend with a TV now and so it's kind of like eating bread and water for a year and then gorging on 30 lbs. of milk chocolate in a day.

Do I miss it? Not really. The signal to noise ratio is very small. There's some very good stuff on TV, but most of it is fairly mindless entertainment.

I've been catching up on the Daily Show and if anything they've shuffled even more to the left, which is kind of sad to see. It's still funny most of the time though, and the new Colbert show is pretty good too.

Anyway, another week and I'll be back at a place with no TV...and I'll have to read again.
