2005-10-09 1:32 PM 5 Up Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (1) So, just updated and reprinted my short story/poetry submission records. There are 5 pieces at various points along the available for submission process:
» "Human" Had been sent to F&SF in February. Now I thought I heard a rumor that they were over stocked, but can't be sure on that and can't seem to fnd anything on the web about it. At this point, I'm not sure if I should query, give it up, wait, or what. » "This" Is getting a final look over by my writing group before I start it on the market-go-round again. » "Into Stone" Has been sitting at Chaos Theory: Tales Askew for a year now, so I have begun checking things out elsewhere. I queried. The only response are these updates given to all authors at one time. Considering I subbed when the zine first started, a year is a bit excessive and I've moved on. I have a market in mind for my next attempt. » "Rebuilding After Rejection" Going to start subbing this article out again and see what happens. » "Submitting Your Novel: Elements of the Novel Proposal" Not at all sure what to do with this article. On the one hand, I did research it (for 2003, mind you, but it is researched); on the other, well, I've not subbed a novel and I'm not at all sure I'm qualified to give information like this to the public at large. This was written by the request of a zine that's now defunct - that's the only reason it exists. I'll get "Into Stone" out and then go from there.
