Just adding this public service announcement from the Market Finder LJ community:


May has been a lot less quiet here at MF than you would think. While I have been rather busy with my other job, I've also been preparing to expand MF beyond LJ. MF has been slowly and steadily gathering LJ readers since September of 2004. While not a large community, it just seemed time to reach out to writers who do not use LJ, and perhaps to expand MF from paying markets to all markets.

So I am pleased to announce the completion of the Market Finder Community Forums. These forums are open to all writers and will list all markets for all lengths of writing in all genres while the LJ community will continue as it has and post only paying markets for shorts and poetry.

As you will notice, however, we are a bit bare of markets at the moment. If any of our subscribers choose to join, we are requesting help in getting the place filled up. Anyone wishing to help can find the guidelines and forms to use posted here. Please be aware that you must join the forums to start a new topic, but not necessarily to reply.
