2003-08-13 1:44 PM Too Many Symptoms Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (1) I often approach blogging from the vantage point of a tabloid journalist. I'll scour the internet looking for the most sensational and outrageous symptom of the our world's general disorder, and then I'll post a link.
The trouble these days is that there are too many symptoms and I have a hard time choosing. Should I put up another link about Global Warming(possibly the most serious crisis we face), or should I link to yet another revelation about how Bosh and Blear used lies and intimidation to get backing for an illegal invasion? Should I post a link to how Bush's school reforms are pushing kids out of school, or should I mention that basic social services are under attack? On the other hand I could link to the hundreds of essays written about the broader disorder itself. I could point out that I'm currently reading a book entitled "How to Fight a Revolution with Seeking Power" or I could link to another Crimethink manifesto. There are too many choices, too many directions, too many symptoms. So, in the end, I pick something at random and hope that my link will at least amuse.
