Silly Thinking

After Jim Farris' entry on Monday, August 25th, 2003 entitled The Real Douglas Lain I've been inundated with email. Many readers of the "Silly Thinking" blog, upon reading Jim's accusations, have offered their support, their "Thanks" and their "Wicked Screen Savers."

Other readers, however, have wondered if perhaps some of what Jim wrote might actually be true.

One weblog reader named Jennifer wrote from Billings, Montana to ask the question:

"Is Will Seaman really a CIA plant bent on limiting dissent and destabilizing the peace movement in Portland?"

Unfortunately, there is no easy answer to this question, Jennifer. All I can say for certain is that I know of no evidence of any connection between Will Seaman and the CIA.

What I do know is that if you look at the photo above you can see that Will (pictured in the far righthand corner) clearly enjoys being at the front of the march. He loves to provide the beat, loves having others march around to his drumming.

So, let's not disparage this hard working activist. Instead let us all open our email, look at those free movies, and enjoy our detailed information.
