SB: Thank you and good afternoon everyone and welcome to our preview of "The Silly Awards"!
The Silly Awards. That's great. I thought we already had a Silly Awards show. They call it the Golden Globes!
But seriously it's great to be here at the sight of the "Silly Awards"; the beautiful outdoor bird show arena here at the Oregon Zoo.
As you can see the beautiful set is just about completed for the big show tommorow and I thought I would take a minute to visit with the host of the "Sillies" Alan Thicke!
Hi Alan!
AT: Hi, Scott. Hi everyone.
SB: Alan I know your busy rehearsing for the big show. What can you tell us?
AT: Yeah, well it's going to be great! You know "Silly Thinking" has never done this before and I think it's long over due!
SB: Yeah. Whose going to be on the show?
AT: Well I don't want to blow the suprises for you but Marlon Brando and Leonard Pelter are going to be here.In fact Leonard Pelter is right here. Leonard hello.
LP: It's Peltier. Hi, Alan, Scott.
SB: Hi Len. Great to see you. What will you be doing on the show tommorow?
LP: Mister Brando and I will be giving out one of the awards..
AT: And don't let him kid you, Scott. I have a feeling they will be picking up an award or two as well.
LP: I don't know..
SB: Great! See you later. Now two of the guiding forces behind "Silly Thinking" are Douglas Lain and Jim Farris. Hi Doug and Jim!
SB: You guys must be excited!
DL: Yeah... it's great. Great.
SB: Doug you started "S.T." so long ago. Did you ever think you'd see a glittering event like this?
DL: No, I never did. Really, I never did. Never. My parents have flown in to be here. It's great. Really great. Really.
SB: And Jim, are you excited?
JF: Oh yes Scott I think it's going to be the best one yet!
SB: I know you guys have a lot to do. Great! See you at the show.
And now the first lady of comedy, PHYLLIS DILLER!
PD: Haha haha hahahahaha. Hi kid!
SB: Phyllis. We met before. Do you remember?
PD: I don't remember yesterday. HAhahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahhahahahahhaha
SB: We did a "Battle OF the Network Stars" together back in the eighties!
PD: The eighties! That was six facelifts ago! HAhahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahhahahaha.
SB: It's great to see you again Phyllis. What will you be doing on the show tommorow?
PD: Show? Oh hell I didn't know there was a show. I was booked on the preview.
SB: Great! Great to see you.
PD: I'll be appearing at the Andy Williams Theatre in Missouri February 1st thru the 2nd. And then I'm doing a fund raiser for the rebuilding of the Pentagon in Langley Virginia on February 12th.
SB: Great!
PD: My husband Fang will be there with me. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHaha ha.
SB: OK.
Hey look there's Marlon Brando. Hi Marlon!
MB: Who the hell are you?
SB: Scott Baio. I'm hosting a preview of "The Sillies".
MB: Oh yeah. Something.
SB: Word on the street is you'll be taking home a coveted "Silly" tommorow. Are you excited?
MB: What the hell are you blabbering about punk?

MB: I'm gonna take that microphone and wrap it around your neck.
