This is Silly Thinking BREAKING NEWS.
Here, from New York, is Connie Chung.
CC: Good evening. The early returns are in from Maine and the AP wire service has declared John Kerry the winner.
What a suprise.
Twenty points back is Doctor Dean in second place. He was the only candidate to work the stump there today... if you know what I mean.
In a shocking fifth place is General Wesley Clark who, in the early returns, is finishing behind Carol Mosley Braun who dropped out over two weeks ago.
It looks like the Kerry momentum train is going full steam while John Dean can't shake his association with the Nixon White House.
CC:In other news President George W. Bush went on "Meet The Press" today and said he expected to find the weapons of mass destruction and that "war was necessary" when he declared war late last year.
Bush also stated that "Sadaam still could have built a weapon and turned it over to a dark shadowy terrorist regime anyway."
The President also stated that he did serve in the National Guard even though there may be no records. Otherwise he could not have recieved an honorable discharge.
CC: Look, I'm no longer with a major or minor network. Hell, I work here in tinytown now, but even so this smells to high heaven to me.
