Tonight on Showcase, were going to whisk you back in time to May, 2004 for a Birthday party for the Pope. Pope Paul was 85, and this gave ST’s Connie Chung the opportunity to interview the pontiff.
So now, buckle your seat belts, for a trip on Silly Thinking’s Time Machine to wish the Pope a happy birthday.

Today is Pope Paul’s 85th birthday. The Pope is enjoying the third longest reign as the spiritual leader of the Catholic church and it is our honor to have him with me on “1 on 1”.
Happy Birthday your holiness.
PP: Vell, I vould like to say tank you.
CC: You're welcome, Holy C. Pope John Paul, are you heading the Catholic church in the right direction in this new millennia?
PP: Ms. Chunk, ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.
