RN: Hello. I’m Ralph Nader, and I’m running for President as an independent candidate.
As a result of a conspiracy between the fatcat Democrat, Republican, and Green party, members across the country I am being barred from being on the ballot in several states. It’s a cabal of industrialists and narrow minded politico’s in these three parties that have joined forces against me, to suppress my message of common sense in the American political process.

Surprisingly, it is primarily the Democrats who are working hardest against my candidacy.

They have spread lies and misinformation that my campaign has had help from rich Republican front organizations to qualify for the ballot.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

It’s true that some concerned Americans and organizations with ties to the Republican Party have financed some of these processes in some states. But I welcome that support and say if they want to help finance my bid for the Presidency, so be it. I’m happy to take their money and help get the truth out to the American People.

Let me show you a film clip of my nominating conference, in Toronto, Canada, and show you, that unlike the glitzy show business of the Republican and Democratic conventions, my campaign deals with real issues:



RN: The Democrats and Republicans would have you believe that I’m in this for personal ego reasons. That is not true. It’s false. I want the truth to be told to the American people.


The three parties that oppose me and my candidacy are bought and paid for by fatcats in Washington, Hollywood, and Bend, Oregon. They would have you believe lies. I do not align myself with multinational interests, and would not answer to any moneyed interests.



President Nader would answer to no one….


but the American people.
And that’s the way it should be. These fatcats would have you believe that I am a spoiler. I am not a spoiler. How can you spoil something that’s already spoiled?


As President I would say no to the fatcat lobbyists that dominate big time politics and work for the people. Some groups that have helped me have asked for no favors and would not receive any.


I am sick and tired of big moneyed fatcats controlling what happens in Washington and would stop it.


We need affordable health care, social services, and not a war. As President I would immediately form groups and panels that would address these important issues and I would act on their findings.




RN: As you can see, we have a long way to go. So don’t believe the lies and misinformation that the Republicans, Democrats, and Green Party people, have been spreading. Vote for me, either on the ballot or write in candidate, and visit me on the web at ---------------------------------.
