Christopher Reeve, who played Superman in 4 films, is dead at age 52.

Reeve was paralyzed after a fall from a horse over a decade ago and fought valiantly with courage and determination to live a normal life and walk again. He was an advocate for stem cell research that he thought would save his life and help him walk again.

It was not to be, Christopher Reeve succumbed to heart failure yesterday and died today.
