We call this place STS/FX. Tonight's episode was written by famed Science Fiction Author and founder of ST: Douglas Lain Today we meet a man who is tired of his job as a grocery clerk who falls in love with a woman with strange and mysterious powers, a woman who gives him the power to quit his job and find a new life. “More than Groceries” At a bus stop. ![]() Grocery Clerk: I don't want to go to work today. I hope my bus never arrives. ![]() Beautiful Woman: I can see through solid objects. ![]() Grocery Clerk: You can? ![]() Beautiful Woman: Sometimes. Maybe I overstated a little. I can see through mostly solid objects if there is a hole in them somewhere, and if the hole goes all the way through. ![]() Grocery Clerk: That's amazing. You're so beautiful. ![]() Beautiful Woman: If you act dazed and confused and do some seemingly random things then you might be able to see through mostly solid objects too. We could be dazed and confused together. ![]() ![]() Grocery Clerk: I can do it. This is amazing. I love you. ![]() Beautiful Woman: But in the end we are oppressed by our historical circumstance.
