PG: Hello again and welcome to another trip into the unknown, a place of mystery and the unexplained. A place we call STS/FX.
Tonight meet a man on a mission. A man, who, from the outside is very shy, a man you might not notice on the street. A man who only has invented a machine that will change the course of human history… in a place we call STS/FX.

“The Parallel Man”


In A coffee shop.


Marge: Harold, why can’t we get married? My mother is asking questions.


Harold: I know dear, and I want to get married to you, but I have to wait till I perfect my invention.


M: I know, sometimes I think you care more about that invention than you do our happiness.


H: That’s not true. I just want to secure our future, and everybody’s future, before we tie the knot.


M: That silly old machine will never work Harold.


H: Don’t say those things darling. It will work.


M: No it won’t. Why don’t you give up?


H: Your just like all the others. You’ll see. You’ll see.


M: Harold, come back. I’m sorry. HAROLD!


(Harold’s workshop)


H: So ‘it won’t work Harold, why don’t you give up’ I’ll show her. I’ll show everybody.
Just fix the mechanism, and set a few dials…. Now I’ll start the machine..



H: Come on baby!



H: I’ve done it! It worked. Look, everything is exactly the same. It’s better than I could of hoped!
I’ve created the perfect parallel universe. It’s exactly perfect.


M: Harold?


H: Marge! I’ve done it. Isn’t it perfect?


M: What?


H: Your in it right now. A perfect parallel universe. I’ve created it.


M: What? Nothing has happened Harold, we had a fight and I came to apologize.


H: I know, it’s seamless, even to the people in it it seems like the other universe, but it’s a parallel universe. It’s perfect.


M: Now can we get married?


H: Yes darling, now we can marry!
