So I'm in the shower today (a nice long one in which I even got to pumice my feet. Not that y'all really care but it needed doing. Trust me. And thank you Mom for making it happen!) when I realized I was feeling weird. I actually felt happy. Not just "not unhappy" but honest to goodness joy. I was even humming a bit. I felt that all was right with the world and there was nothing that I couldn't get done.

Can I tell you how freakin' cool that was? Especially since it's lasted for several hours now? D- and I went for a walk after my mom left. We went to the video store and stopped by at the local art gallery (that I've driven by a gazillion times but never actually stopped in. It was well worth the stop, believe me).

I finally feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I may, one day, actually not cry! Whoo hoo!

Yup...I'm happy. :^)
