We had friends stop by last night to pick up a cooler we were storing for them. The insisted that they had to bring us dinner in return. I thought it odd that they wanted to bring more stuff in order to get their own property but my protestations were quickly squelched.

Dinner was wonderful. Conversation...interesting. And that's only becuase I suddenly find myself not having a clue as to what to talk about with other people.

I honestly thought that as I've been around adults most of the time at work, I would be able to converse with all adults.

Ha!

At work, we talk about work things. Which doesn't make for good social conversation to/for people that aren't part of said work environment.

So the question is: what the hell do people talk about??
