Interlude
I miss my friend Hilary.
For some reason, tonight - this moment - it's as if the loss were recent instead of years ago. I don't know why and I don't honestly even know if it's *her* or the idea of her or something else entirely that's causing this aching.
But I sit here with tears streaming down my face and I'm not picking up the phone to call the two most obvious people who's voices I also want to hear.
And I just don't understand why...
