DuffieMoon A Bit of Randomness Most people go through life dreading they'll have a traumatic experience. Freaks were born with their trauma. They've already passed their test in life. They're aristocrats. --Diane Arbus |

2006-10-23 9:17 AM Autumn Yesterday, Eric, Dylan and I went to my parents' house for brunch. We were lucky enough to get there in time to see my sister, brother-in-law and niece - none of whom I've seen in entirely too long. Dylan and Olivia are on such different nap schedules (and my sister and I live *just* far enough away) that getting together most days is, um, difficult. But Dylan woke up early and Olivia was going to nap late so it worked and much quality family time was had. Yay!!
Then on the way home, we drove through the metroparks in order to give Dylan a longer snooze in the car. And even with the overcast day, it was a gorgeous drive! The trees were vibrant with yellows, oranges, reds and lots of shades in between. And for the most part, there wasn't anyone else driving behind me to force me to hurry along. I am so lucky to live in an area that has a large body of water, changing seasons, large wooded parks and lots of places to travel to and explore. Whoot!
