DuffieMoon A Bit of Randomness Most people go through life dreading they'll have a traumatic experience. Freaks were born with their trauma. They've already passed their test in life. They're aristocrats. --Diane Arbus |

2006-11-14 10:23 AM Well That Was Quick So much for the every day writing thing, eh??
The days just get away from me so quickly. I get to the end of them and for the life of me can't figure out what the heck I did with it. I know I need to create and stick to a schedule - especially working from home. It's so easy to screw around and think, "Oh, I'll just do *this* real quick before I get started on *this*" or "Eh, I've got all day. I'll get to it in a little bit". But the past few days have been hectic and fun and taxing all at the same time. Eric and I actually went out for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. Like grownups. To a place where not only don't they give toys or crayons to children, they don't even have a kid's menu. :^) I had to dress up and everything. [And now a side note about the people at the restaurant who didn't get dressed up - who wore jeans and tshirts even. I find it troubling that many people have no idea how to (inter)act with/in society anymore. The increase of time at home, in front of a tv and/or a computer is revealing a laissez faire attitude about public actions. The more that one "interacts" with nonhumans, the less one acts like a human.] Anyway Hmm...that little rant seems to have blanked out what all else I was going to write. How very unusual, eh? Ummmm.... Well, yes. Dinner. It was lovely. Eric and I did, in fact, act like newlyweds. Giddy and goofy and nonstop smiling. And I don't think the nifty new beverage (vodka, champagne and chambord) I tried had anything to do with it. Nope. Not at all. But I'm sure it didn't hurt. :^) Sunday was spent at my parents house having a lovely brunch" (since we got there so late, I'm not sure it can technically be called brunch, still...). We got to see my aunt, everyone got to see Dylan. A wonderful time was had by all. So yes. Now it's tuesday. And I'll come up with something better to write next time. :^) Read/Post Comments (6) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
