2005-12-16 2:20 PM A Holiday Newsletter Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (1) Last night we managed to miss both an ice storm and a snow storm, receiving instead a fairly innocuous mixture of rain and snow and today, for the first time in two weeks, the temperature has got up to freezing!
The sun's actually out. Maybe that's why I'm blogging. I ought to correlate my entries with a weather calendar. I wouldn't be surprised if the gloomier it gets the less likely I am to feel up to blogging. Mary and I have taken advantage of the break in the weather to get out the newest issue of our newsletter, The Orphan Scrivener. This is definitely a holiday issue. In "Fruit of the Yule" Mary describes what it's like to spend Christmas in Florida after a lifetime in England. As for me, well I just do my best to cope, caught as I am "Between a Turkey and a Hard Place".
