How slothful about blogging have I been? I didn't even mention that there was a new Orphan Scrivener out. I write about Halloween and Mary, more interestingly, writes about detectives on stamps.

And now David Burton has published another Pixel:

This issue features Eric Mayer's "Notes From Byzantium" column (autumn, cats, Halloween, naming characters); Ted White's "Whither Fandom?" column (this month on ditto, multilith, and mimeos); Lee Lavell's "Much Nothings About Ado" column (the "teaching gene" and conspiracy theories); Dave Locke's "Apathetic Competence"; Chris Garcia's "Found In Collection" column (on UNIVAC and it's fannish connections); Peter Sullivan's "Being Frank" fanzine review column (And Furthermore, Banana Wings, The Drink Tank, e-APA, eI, Nice Distinctions, Skyrack, Steam Engine Time, and Vegas Fandom Weekly); a letter column, and editorial. Plus original artwork by David Lewton and Brad Foster.

It can be downloaded from http://www.efanzines.com/CPG/Pixel07.pdf
File size is approximately 628K.

I've been so verbally inert that Mary (as editor in chief of the Scrivener) and Dave, without consulting one another, both reprinted my Halloween JournalScape entry from last year. So if you loved it last year you can love it twice as much this year.
