Just an alert. I signed up for Holidailies.

Writing a blog every day seemed like a good idea last year, when I was making five entries a week but I missed the registration deadline. So this year I made sure to get in on time, even though I've only been doing five entries a month.

Funny how we can hang onto our original attitudes and enthusiasms and desires long after they cease to make any sense.

Sometimes that’s not a bad thing. I’ll be damned if I can figure out a good reason to want to write a book for publication given what I’ve learned about the publishing industry in the last ten years. But I keep doing it. At one time it seemed like a great idea and I can’t shake the feeling even though I know better.

Maybe this Holidailies thing will work out too.
