Yeah, I know it's been a long time. What can I say? We've been snowed in for practically two months. Its boring. We keep working. The work is boring. It's bad enough I'm bored, why should I bore you too?

But today I have something interesting to say. Free ebook!

Well, okay, maybe not entirely free. You do need to register at NetGalley to request it. Poisoned Pen Press is making electronic ARCs (advance reading copies) of some of their titles available there, among them Eight For Eternity.

I registered giving only my name, email address and a line of information about myself -- that I am a PPP co-author. Presumably one could identify oneself as a blogger. After you register you can browse the catalog and request titles from the publishers who are involved. Obviously the purpose is to garner reviews.

Our publisher tells me: "My view of NetGalley is that I'm willing to approve an ARC for those who post reviews. First time I'll approve any prospective reviewer. After that I won't approve them unless they deliver a review to NetGalley and elsewhere online. Some people will get a free book or two, but most will stop asking if they just are looking for reading material because I insist they produce."

There are plenty of other titles available too, from a variety of publishers, so if you do want to do some reviews this is a spot where you can find some free books!
