Did you hear the sigh of relief when you opened up this entry? It has been hectic at Casa Maywrite but Mary and I finally sent off the manuscript of One For Sorrow to Poisoned Pen Press.

Yeah, we already did that once before, fourteen years ago. I feel like I've stumbled into a time travel story. What we did this time was a total rewrite. It was eerie revisiting the story after so many years, particularly since I never reread our books, even in part. Once they are done I want to forget them and get on to something new.

However Onefer (as we refer to it) will be published in November in ebook, paperback and hardcover by Head of Zeus, a new UK publisher, and we felt our writing had progressed to the extent that the original book was not as good an introduction to our work as it could be. So we tried to spiff it up, without changing the basic storyline or outcome which we felt would not have been fair.

Head of Zeus, will publish 24 titles this year. Among featured authors are Fay Weldon, Joyce Carol Oates and Joseph Wambaugh. You can see a copy of their catalogue here.
