Sweet jeebus.

Okay, I don't think we should be in Iraq, but we are. I hope we make it through as safely as possible. I hope we actually liberate the Iraqi people (and don't just make them fodder for others), I hope Saddam Hussein doesn't free some biological agent that will infect Iraqi people and "Coalition" troops alike, I hope we don't blow up some biohazardous something into the air, I hope we get through this and loose a minimum of civilian life over it.

I hope that when the "truth" comes out about the reasons for this, the ones we couldn't disclose until after military ops, that they are surprisingly good reasons. Because if Bush is doing this on anything even minutely personally motivated, it's just plain wrong.

And for those of you who didn't hear it, ABC radio broadcast about 1pm today was absolutely chilling. The shots on television, I would say, did not do the horror justice. I hope we hit the things we meant to hit, at least.

I don't think we should have done this, but I hope something good comes from it. I think that's all I can say right now.
