I hate waiting. (2 points for movie and character)

Well, waiting is what I'm doing. I sent out a few stories at the beginning of September, and judging by the lack of rejections it seems that they are all being considered, which is really really cool. It's just that everything is about waiting right now--I have resumes out to a few places, waiting to see if I get word on a job, I'm waiting for the bar people to be done with their character check so that I can get an interview there and get sworn in to practice (so I hope).

It's not so bad--I'm starting to get caught up on a bunch of web work I had been putting off. And Kroger had steaks on sale the other day (yeah I know, be wary of cheap meat, but it was really yummy) and Sean cooked up some steaks that were sooooo good. And I keep getting caught up on dishes, but it's useless cause I just dirty them again :)

But I've gotten a lot of artwork done, and I suppose I should enjoy my break while it lasts, even if it isn't one I exactly planned.

And besides, this weekend is the Wine & Jazz festival, which I'll be working like I have every year for the past...6? Damn. Anyway, it's extra money, and hard work, but generally a really good time.

So by the time Monday rolls around, I'll be *ready* to wait again! Even when elements of it suck, life is really good, you know?
