The down side is that a lot of stuff simply went upstairs for me to deal with later--but that's okay, because a lot of stuff also went out the door in garbage bags, and I'll never (*sniff*) see it again.
Most of the stuff I took upstairs is leftover law goodies, which I need to decide what to do with. I probably want to keep all my books and stuff, or a lot of them, for future reference use--but at the moment, I nearly can't stand the sight of them! I figure I'll try to box them up as nicely as possible and pile them all in one corner. Sean thinks I should clear off a good size shelf and just have them all out, which isn't a bad idea except that then what do I do with what was on that shelf? O_o For now, I'm sticking with boxing the silly things. I got my creativity going a bit last night, and did some drawing. I'm having fun experimenting with different styles, none of which I know the name of. It felt good to be creating, as I haven't been doing much of that lately. However the weather is getting nicer, which always puts me in an artistic mood for some reason, so I'm sure I'll be doing more artsy things soon. Gosh, the extra clear space is nice. Makes me feel accomplished every time I look at it :) Maybe that'll be incentive for me to get the rest of it done too. I find myself yearning for an almost Spartan state of neatness.
