I am one of the few sad people in the world who owned this movie on VHS because it was just that good, so when I randomly checked Amazon and found it available on DVD, I really just had to get it.
If you've never seen it, here's your synopsis: A group of seemingly unrelated people wind up winning a contest to go visit a medieval castle that hasn't been opened for centuries. A massacre happened at this castle in the days of yore: everyone in the castle had killed themselves, only one tiny baby survived. The place has been thought of as cursed ever since. What these people don't know is that they've been selected because they are all descendents of this one child. And the goal of the instigator of this little trip? To finish what was thwarted by the survival of one baby all those centuries ago... Oh, I know I'm a total dork. But the movie had werewolves and medieval castles, suspense and mystery, and was a lot of fun to watch. And in about ten days or so, I will own that puppy on DVD. So nyeh. Other news? That's right, folks! Sunday nights down at 123 Pleasant Street are now mine. This means there will be much Comedy Central and Adult Swim, much cheap Guiness ($2 drafts, yo), much cheap alcohol ($2 rail, yo), and Sunday Bloody Marys. And probably HeroClix. (Yo.) I'm all excited--Donnie told me when I started that if I wanted them I could have Sunday nights but that I had to wait a little while--and here it is! My time!! It's finally gonna be my time!! Yeah, I'm in a good mood. And since I haven't gotten a call from Donnie yet it looks like I may have tonight off, which is extra cool since it'll give me a chance to get a few things cleaned up and go to the store. Such mundanities, I know. It's a beautiful day. Read/Post Comments (7) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
