It's almost like it's the opposite of the problem you probably had to begin with--instead of having nothing in particular to write about you have way too much to write about, and it gets so jumbled you don't have anywhere to begin. And I don't know about you, but I am not an organized person. I try, but really those efforts just mask my disorganization. Like having several laundry-baskets, so I can just throw the clothes into a laundry basket instead of on the floor, when if I were organized I imagine I'd put them away. Or having a little basket to catch the mail that would otherwise litter the table. Or having a little metal thing for the fruit to rot in instead of simply rotting on the countertop... Though I'd like to think masking disorganization takes more than assorted sizes of baskets... Anyway, I figured I'd get the sort of empty "back" journal entry out of the way. The one where you don't tell about the health of dear ones, or the visits from friends, or the birthday you had, or the people you should have called and didn't (yet!), or the shows you've been to, or the work you've done. The one where you sort of bashfully pull your head back out of the sand and say hi to whoever's standing around. Winter is the time I wish I could hibernate. I hope that March brings with it the pitter-splat of spring. Read/Post Comments (5) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
