So I just bought some of the new Blistex Lip Infusion liquid lip balm. On first use, I really like it -- it has a vanilla-ish scent (almost flavor) to it, seems to absorb well, and leaves just enough tackiness behind at first that I feel like I did something, but not enough to be annoying. I wonder at the wisdom of being able to eat sunscreen, but other than that... I found it odd that saccharin was a minor ingredient, but the lanolin, aloe, and jojoba oil were all comforting to see on a lip balm label. I like regular Blistex, but I think sometimes if my lips are very irritated the menthol is a bad thing.

Sean says the new lip balm reminds him of the blue tub Blistex, and I think that's some of the attraction for me. I like the little metal roller ball applicator, too. I can see it being addictive, but make no promises yet. My lips had been getting pretty chapped with the snarky weather though. (So much for it being "April" showers...) Wish it would warm up and be nice again.
