So we just got Netflix. I'm enjoying it so far, we did the 2 DVDs unlimited plan, and I may bump it up to 3 (the pricing on it is funny to me, since 3 is only $3 more per month than 2 you feel silly getting the 2...). We've watched the Chronicles of Narnia, which I liked (though I was skeptical until we got to the beavers, but I loved how they did the animals), Fantastic Four, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I do like the convenience, and since I decided I'd never go back to Blockbuster again if I could help it, I'm glad it's an option. So far there's been once they didn't send me the top two on my list, even though they showed as available. I thought it was odd, but it didn't extremely bother me. If it happens a lot I might be more troubled.

As I said, I'm glad we got it so far, though; I was getting a little bored (we don't have cable) and wanted some new stuff to watch. I've mostly been buying DVD sets of stuff I like, which works well most of the time, but all the really good things I wanted to be able to get are all coming out later, basically starting at the end of this month and going through September. Why do the DVD companies do this feast and famine motif? I know there are DVDs coming out all the time, it just seems like the ones I want all come out at once. Sigh.

I have to admit it's strange though, I'm now so used to analyzing movies I might want to see in terms of actually buying them that I have to remind myself I *can* rent a movie I'm not sure I'll enjoy...
