gabriel Love and ferrets and pretending to be a writer. 2005-10-23 3:39 PM roses and weather Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Proud Read/Post Comments (0) |
The ferrets are: snoozing, and in need of having their yucky room cleaned up. Weather: gray, but not cold. Reading: I am between books right now, which is very strange. I'll find and start another one any minute. I recetly finished How to Murder a Millionaire, which was cute. Knitting: the small blanket Ramblin' Rows afghan It was misting here earlier, and I thought it was going to do it all day so I took a walk in it and got a little bit damp. So did littlest doggie, but she didn't care. Now it's done with that misting, but still gray out. Gizmo knows when I am getting ready to take a walk, even if I don't say the word. This morning before going out I said to hubby in pseudo-French, "Je vais en promedade avec la petite chien. Voulez-vous come, too?" And she got all wiggly. She and I walked for an hour and saw a lot of stuff, including a good-sized green racer, a very pretty green color strip on it. I wanted to get a pic of it, but had no way to keep Gizmo away. She might have hurt it. THe snake was moving awaay pretty fast as it was. I took a pic but I doubt I can tell what's in it. It was gorgeous yesterday! Hubby planted two roses for me this weekend, and they will be so happy. I dug the holes Tuesday, then he dug them out some more and removed all the )@#_*%($&^ blackberry roots from around them and put manure in the bottom of the holes where the roses will find it in a year or so when their roots get down there - a nice surprise for them. |
