I've decided that I should probably find some form of employment to help fund my travels but I think it is going to be more difficult than first anticipated as there aren't a lot of employment opportunities out there for gnomes. I suppose I could be a stunt double for that gnome who does the travel commercials but he's gotten a bit big in the britches since he got that gig and I'm not in to prima donna's. I've had a couple of ideas but so far nothing has just reached out and grabbed me by the beard shrieking "This is IT!!!". If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

At first I thought I might be a professional cyclist but as you can see there is some issue with me reaching the peddles.



I've also discovered that cycling is an incredibly expensive sport and they make you wear stupid looking shorts. So that's out....

Next I thought it might be fun to be a commando. But as you can see I don't exactly blend in to the foliage which wouldn't be a good thing if I was out on a mission. Not to mention that people sometimes shoot at you and I'm not really in to that either.



The last thing I considered was a tow truck dispatcher. I thought that could be interesting- getting to meet all sorts of people and never doing the same thing twice. But when I went to try it out I found that I couldn't key the radio by myself and the drivers couldn't really hear me very well.



So I'm kind of at a loss right now as to what I want to do with my life. I guess that means I'll just have to keep traveling and hope for some inspiration....
