No, no, no. If Japan were really "plotting aggression", they'd have assassinated a prime minister by now... I mean, really. One car bomb scared them out of the Iraq peacekeeping arrangements, you think they're going to land on your shores and pour blood on the beaches of Korea against a million of Communism's last armed holdout? For what? The lucrative North Korean economy? An opportunity for another land war with China? Perhaps some nostalgia among Japan's policymakers for the days of Japanese cities being bombed by gaijin has arisen, and they'd like North Korea to launch their missiles into the Tokyo megalopolis.

Or maybe North Korea should just be rewarded with aid shipments of decaf...
