An NPR report on the second helicopter shoot-down, which report I listened to with my own ears, went like this: It demonstrated that the Iraqi resistance is now able to challenge American domination of the skies over Baghdad.This is possibly one of the single most ignorant things I have ever heard stated as a fact on any "news" report. NPR can no longer be considered a reliable source for anything regarding Iraq, or foreign or military affairs. I am simply speechless. |
