2003-08-14 4:22 PM more zilch. Ok Jerm., here's one. The other will have to wait.
If I were a stone, I would be: smooth and round, at a lake shore; the kind that begs to be skipped out over the water. If I were a tree, I would be: silver birch If I were a bird, I would be: a raven; I would be the one that Poe wrote about. If I were a flower/plant, I would be: that stubborn dandelion growing in the sidewalk crack. If I were a kind of weather, I would be: dark grey, overcast, steady rain; those melancholy days. If I were a mythical creature, I would be: the Lady of the Lake If I were a musical instrument, I would be: the lute of a travelling bard. If I were an animal, I would be: a wolf If I were a colour, I would be: that copper colour found in the fur of calico cats. If I were an emotion, I would be: that bittersweet homesickness that comes with nostalgia; that feeling of knowing you can never go back again. If I were a vegetable, I would be: a jalapeno pepper If I were a fruit, I would be: the apple that got Newton thinking. If I were a sound, I would be: that soft scrunching sound of walking through the forest after a rain fall. If I were an Element, I would be: of surprise? heh.. um.. I would be Hg. (that's mercury - who could resist being known as quicksilver?) If I were a song, I would be: Bach's Sicilienne from Sonata in E Flat Major for Flute and Harpsichord.. simple, but one of those tunes just always out of reach when you want to hum it. If I were to trade places with another person, it would be: Bill Gates - with his money, the good that could be done is overwhelming. If I were a movie, I would be: a documentary.. probably with subtitles. If I were a novel, I would be: an unpublished original by a first time author. If I were a play, I would be: something performed by children in the Globe when Shakespeare wasn't looking. If I were a poem, I would be: obscure, probably by Cohen. If I were a place, I would be: the cool, dark hollow underneath my grandmother's pink rose bushes. If I were a material, I would be: material? like fabric or building? whatever. I say chambray. If I were a taste, I would be: dark roast coffee. If I were a religion, I would be: private, contemplative and constant between believer and god. If I were a word, I would be: whispered. If I were an object, I would be: a spatula. If I were a body part I would be: that hollow between neck and collar bone. If I were a facial expression I would be: a smirk and a wink. If I were a subject in school I would be: history. If I were a cartoon/comic book character, I would be: Betty Cooper. If I were a shape I would be: the lemniscate of Bernoulli (fancy way of saying the mathematical symbol for infinity). If I were a number I would be: the all important 0. If I were a month I would be: October. If I were a day of the week I would be: Friday If I were a time of day I would be: either 4:35am or 11:52pm.. one of those very quiet, very alone times. If I were a direction I would be: north by northwest. If I were a sin I would be: Lust. If I were a virtue I would be: Compassion. If I were an historical figure I would be: Hypatia of Alexandria. If I were a liquid I would be: there is, or used to be, on the mountain road leading up to Panorama ski resort, a small trickle of a waterfall that someone once had tied a tin cup beside. It was true glacier water. That's what I would want to be. If I were a method of death I would be: expected, quick but painless. .dar. soundtrack: Jesse Cook - "Incantation" Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
