We're having a BBQ for my parents' 40th anniversary tomorrow. It was supposed to be today but the weather was all Sybil so we postponed. I figure 40 years? What's another day?

40 years. Cannot.Compute. I've been with M. for just half that. Some days it seems longer but for the most part when I think "20 years", it doesn't seem that it could possibly have been that much time. That's good, yeah? I should make a point of remembering that more often. I should. Not saying I will. He still leaves his dirty socks on the floor and I swear I've been asking him not to do that for forever. I'll give him another 20 years but then that's it! If he doesn't have his act together by then...
