So, today is the first day of the novel dare. There are about 17 of us doing this dare, and you can track our progress over here.

I'll also be posting my progress here, of course. So far, since Saturday, I've handwritten 11 and 3/4 pages, which sounds more impressive than it really is (my best guess is this is fewer than 2000 words). As soon as it's typed in, I'll post an actual word count.
