I honestly can't remember the last time a day went like this. I woke up in a horrible, awful, no good, very bad mood. Right about now, I'm dancing around the office. It's a Friday. My meeting with my boss went well. Everyone is in a good mood. We just bought chocolate. My contacts are still fuzzy but my headache is almost gone. My day is getting better, yo. How weird is that?

But, the topper, is that I just found out that my story passed slush and is on its way to Shawna at Realms of Fantasy. Carina loved it.

Ok, so I am aware enough to know that I still hardly have a chance at it getting accepted. I am fully bracing myself for another few months of waiting, then a rejection. But, well, my rejectomancy can't help but act up. I passed through the slush! Hee! I still have a shot . . .

Wonder if I can make it through the next few months with my fingers crossed?

I love this story, too. I hope it does get a good home.
