Man oh man.

I'm sick, or at least, I seem to be. I can't go home from work unless I'm willing to spend $15 to have a doctor tell me, "Yup, you're sick -- here's a note saying that I agree with you." Things have been pretty good at work lately, but it's days like this when I remember how much I can hate it here sometimes.

A couple of days ago, I was bouncing from this overwhelming feeling of joy and benevolence. Problem with those feelings is that they never last, they can't last, which is why they stand out and are such a rush. Ah well.

I even went to bed early last night!

I'm also unable to send email from home since we got DSL. This has nothing really to do with me being sick (... or does it, hm?), but it's annoying. I've been to both my lmi.net and sbc.com pages trying to figure out to send lmi mail through SBC's service, and yet none of the smtp addresses that I've found online seem to work. Soon I will call my friend Todd and ask nicely for him to help me, but until then, I am forced to send all email at work. Or through yahoo.com, which has its own problems.

Hi.

If one more man calls here and wants me to talk about masturbation sleeves I'll --- I dunno. I can't really hang up on them, not all of them, not until I know for sure they're a wanker. Some men are genuinely nervous and/ or have serious questions, and I enjoy helping people out, but the wankers have got to go. It's making me kind of hostile, which makes me not so helpful to the nice ones, which is sad. Grrr. Stupid wankers.

I swear I had something more substantial to say in a journal entry, but it's slipped my feverish mind. If I remember I suppose that's another journal entry.

Ta for now!
