Ahem.

So, I still need to do a real Wiscon report, but in the meantime, I have a bit of news.

A few months ago my boss asked me if I'd like to edit fiction for the email update at Blowfish. I said sure, then didn't hear anything about it for awhile. I've been pretty busy at work, so I didn't bother nudging him, as I knew it would slow down for the summer and that I could ask for more work then.

Well, turns out that he thought about it and decided not to just do fiction for the update. He wants to start up Fishnetmag.com again. The idea here is to make it a real online magazine, starting off with just fiction (one new piece a week) and eventually adding original erotic photography, non-fiction, and possibly even reviews (though I already do short ones every week for the catalog).

And I'm the editor.

Ok, so it's a lot more work for no extra compensation, but then again, in the summer it gets way slow, so I'll have plenty of time. And, well, I'm gonna get paid to edit fiction! As a day job! How cool is that? It's way cool!

I'm still working on the guidelines/ call for subs (though I should have them done & approved tomorrow), but for now I'll say: hot erotica, up to 8000 words, one new piece published every week, pays 4 cents a word.
