Better (and thanks for all the fish)

Just thought I should pop in here and reassure folks that I'm feeling much better. Thanks to everyone who expressed concern. It ended up freaking me out a few days after it happened, as I realized that I had lost consciousness and just fell... ANYway, my tummy is still a little sensitive, and my throat is still sore (meh!) but overall I'm feeling much better.

I broke down and purchased a pro Flickr account (it's a really good deal, actually) so I could put up more photos. Here are a few choice photos from the underwater camera, taken during our snorkeling at the Place of Refuge in Hawai'i.

When the dolphins swam up around us, it was one of the most magical moments of my life. There were about 15 total, two of them babies, and they were playful -- jumping out of the water and spinning. The swam by close enough to touch (though we didn't, as it just didn't seem polite) and we tried to follow them, but of course, they're dolphins so they quickly lost us. We pulled our heads out of the water and tried to see where they went, but we'd lost them. Then we put our faces back in the water and they were hanging out underneath us! I think they were messing with us. So funny! I could also hear them talking to one another in the water.

I've always wanted to swim with wild dolphins, and we almost spent a lot of money on a "dolphin cruise" to try and make that happen. It's even better that they just swam up to us while we were out snorkeling one day, though. They were just amazing to watch. I wish I could go do that every day.
