Interview Friday

I was interviewed by Simon Owens over at Bloggasm, along with a lot of other cool writer types. You can read my interview, and then click on the picture up top to read the rest. Of course, because I'm forgetful and didn't remember to send off my interview until the others started going up today, mine is currently at the top of the page.

It's been a really busy week.

Had a great day at work today. It was very much a Friday. We had Annie Sprinkle as our podcast guest (it won't be up until next Wednesday) this week, and she was just amazing. I have a little bit of hero worship going with her. I was shocked when I answered the door, though, as I hadn't known that she's currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. She pulled her breasts out of her top, showing us how one was hot and one was cold (she'd just come from radiation therapy), and Bekah said, "Oh, your famous breasts!" Seriously, the only breasts I can think of that are more famous are Dolly Parton's, and we've all seen more of Annie's and like hers better anyway. Luckily, they only had to remove a small lump, and there's only a miniscule chance of recurrance. Still, we all got a little teary, especially as she and her girlfriend Beth told us about their ritual hair cutting/ erotic cancer photo shoot (which is in this month's On Our Backs). I must pick up a copy. Fascinating, moving stuff.

Have a busy weekend ahead, so I may not pop in here to say hello again. Have a good one!
