2006-06-22 2:21 PM So much for defying stereotypes... Last night The Baby, at a mere 19 months old, started doing somersaults.
It wasn't a fluke. She deliberately tried to do it, did it and then did it again several times. I learned from the sitter this morning that her son (who is about 4, a much more sensible age for this sort of thing) has been doing them a lot lately. So at least I know where The Baby picked it up. The sitter also informed me, somewhat ominously, that one of the other kids has been really into doing cartwheels and yet another likes to stand on her head.
